CloudSigma Expands Public Cloud to Melbourne, its Second Australian Location

CloudSigma’s Dual Australian Locations Improve Customers’ Geographical Load Balancing, Latency Performance and Data Redundancy for a More Seamless Public Cloud Experience

Zurich, Switzerland – March, 2017

CloudSigma is an international, customer-centric, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) provider. Today, it has announced its expansion to a second Australian location at the VOCUS Communications data centre in Melbourne. With locations now spanning both the east and west coasts, CloudSigma can not only offer improved latency performance to customers but also provide a more convenient failover solution within Australia’s borders for complete stack redundancy. So, customers can take advantage of a broad portfolio of new value added features, including automated backups, server migration and Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS). This will then allow them to build with full automation, a highly resilient cloud infrastructure that brings business continuity and peace of mind.

“Deploying on the East coast of Australia will further support our customers and partners in having access to CloudSigma infrastructure at two diverse locations”, said Paul Arch, Regional Director of CloudSigma AU.

A key complement to the Australian cloud offering is a strong hybrid capability. This allows customers to extend infrastructure to the public cloud whilst remaining under the sole jurisdiction of Australia. CloudSigma’s diverse network connectivity allows customers to connect into the Australian cloud locations with low latency and create a seamless environment between their existing colocation and/or office deployments and the cloud.

CloudSigma is offering fully supported proof of concept test accounts for potential customers at the new Melbourne location.
